Anyone else out there collect actual arcade machine fighter?

Hi there, new to the forum. As a Sega Saturn fan I discovered this site recently, awesome stuff. My true passion however is for the actual arcade games themselves, especially ones that never received arcade-perfect ports. Obviously this can be an expensive hobby, but I am just wondering who else out there has some cool physical arcade machines at their place? I'd love to hear about your collections, see pics, or if you know good places to score these. Or is everyone perfectly happy with MAME and I'm nuts?

So far I have Mortal Kombat 2, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (formerly Mk3 prior to upgrade), Soul Calibur II, Marvel vs Capcom, Virtua Cop 2, and Raiden 2. I would love to get my hands on some more SNK/Neo Geo fighters as well as some more shmups. I've also been looking for the old Capcom Alien vs Predator beat 'em up for a long time. I also have an irrational desire to find a Primal Rage arcade machine.

Well if there's one to have, thats a great choice! I lusted after one of those for 15 years before finally lucking out into one. Badass game, still impressive how good the sound and monitor was on the MK2/Mk3 machines.

But for most of us, it would be too big.

If you have ample space in your man cave, then go for it!

Another issue is maintaining your arcade machine. I would have no clue on how to fix one if it broke.

For now, I'll just stare in jealous silence of your arcade collection.

You practically bought an entire cab for the cost of a couple of joysticks!

Thanks man. Well, it IS a pain in the ass if something goes wrong with it. I did have to have the monitor repaired on my MK2 machine and that process took months. There are a few specialists out there who do that. This guy in Wisconsin from a site called ArcadeCRT.com fixed it for me.

I have an apartment but theres room for a couple machines, however of most my machines reside at my guitar shop where they're set to free-play for people to enjoy.

yep, paid $50 for the pigskin footbrawl in the same pic and it didn't need any work

I confess, though I want some arcade titles, I wouldn't want the arcade version of Soul Caliber, if only because the Dreamcast version improves upon it so much. Dead or Alive ++ I might go for, though...
