SNKP currently hiring for a possible 3D KOF and SamSho

EH SNK and 3d do not play well with each other.

Can't we just get a Garou 2 with KOF XIII like sprites like EVERYONE wants?

You are aware that KOF XII and XIII use 3D models right!? Character models start out as a 3D model, then meticulously drawn over them by hand with devs sprite artist.
Just by witnessing the direction of where the next GGX series is heading in an artistic sense, it's a good bet that SNK is gearing up for a 2D fighting production utilizing 3D graphics. I look forward to what SNK has in store after their amazing effort with XIII.

I sure did. Not as a series competitive fighter, but as a love letter to the fans and a fun game to play.
They should have called that shit "KoF Maximum SNK Fan Service" :lol:

Yeah. But in all honesty though I liked KOF XII or at least what little there was to enjoy. The biggest crime KOF XII comminted was it was as unfinished product plain and simple.
But I found a lot of its unique gameplay additions to be very appealing. I liked that you can charge Blowback attacks. I liked that you can crouch cancel backdashes. I really liked the clashing system (although it needed some additional refinement), and I absolutely loved the Critcal Counter system very much. Incredibly reminicent of Alpha 2's CC system with a more rewarding and simple activation method. Goodtimes. If anyone who finds the game out in the wild for under a fiver and enjoys tinkering with a fighting games subsystem, Give KOF XII a shot ;)

KOF XII had bigger sprites than XIII did.

That's about all XII has over XIII.

I really hope SNK isn't going 3d Full time. KOF MI 2 was OK but SNK is a 2d Company and I can't think of one amazing 3d game they've done.

I can't think of one amazing 3d game they've done.



Buruki One was Fantastic. I'd love to see a sequel for that or even a home port of the orignal.
