I'm not the hardcore fighting game fan that some people here are, but I've enjoyed many of them over the years. I don't care for the 3D ones, so this list is all 2D

1. Darkstalkers: Vampire Savior(I actually like both the Saturn and Playstation versions)
This gets the no. 1 spot because the Darkstalkers series is easily my favorite 2D fighter series. The other games below are in no particular order
