What Are The Hidden Gems of the Atari 2600?

So I think we had discussed which games defined the 2600 enough -- now, which games fall more under the "hidden gems" category that still stand the test of time (at least to old-school fans like ourselves)?

I'm going to be digging into the essentials shortly, but will be curious to see what you guys come up with for me to try out after that.

I'm rather fond of Demons to Diamonds, Cosmic Ark, and Towering Inferno...

Dragonfire, Fast Food, Beamrider, Earth Dies Screaming, Wizard of Wor, Armor Ambush.

I seriously suggest emulating most of these to try them out.

And there really were others I wanted to list but they were only game prototypes and were not released. I don't know if you'd want to know about them or not.

I'm going to second this for the Hidden Gems list. The game really showed me what they 2600 was capable of and introduced me to the homebrew scene very positively. It's genuinely one of the most enjoyable 2600 games I've ever played.

I gotta listen to this! I love Wizard of Wor.

And to be productive, try out Dragonstomper made by Starpath. It's a rpg that somewhat reminds me of D&D for the Intellivision.
