Racket's Atari 2600 Haul

Post by racketboy »

So I went head and got a Woodie system since I liked that classic style and it's the one I played on as a kid at my cousin's house in the early 80s.

I picked this all up from Trade N Games. I spent around $100 shipped for it all.

Thanks for the game recommendations in the Games That Defined the 2600 thread. I didn't get every single one, but I think I got most of the more frequent recommendations. I'll probably pick up some more (or maybe emulate) a few others later to help me round out the guides I'll be working on.

beware Pac-Man and Space Invaders. They may kill any existing love you have for these games.

I was so excited to play Space Invaders on my Atari, so I borrowed a friend's copy and gave it back the next day feeling completely crushed and betrayed by one of my favorite arcade games.
