Relevent to this i just bought a flashmasta cart from an ebayer that comes preloaded with the English translation of Cardfighters 2 and Evolution.

It won't make its way to Thailand until Xmas but still, good to be able to play one unobtainable game and one expensive rare game on original (frontlit modded) hardware. :D

As promised I tested this out for you today. You can indeed link two consoles, one with a capcom cart and one with an SNK cart and engage in VERSUS action. There are three different types of match and you win or lose one of your opponents cards as a result....unless you're me...then you just win your own cards because you are the only person on the island to own any NGPC's or games

thanks, bud!

This is good to know. This means that I've found a NGPC title I could play w/ my wife without having to buy dupes of a game.

It should be extra fun to play 2 player this way because each person should have cards that are unfamiliar to the other player.

Don't forget that if you pick up Match of the Millenium you can also upload your % to that game to accrue bonuses and unlock stuff faster.

Both the slugs are good, but the second one is even better and entirely original, it's worth seeking out.

So, hey, this thread is super long, so sorry if I'm asking something that's already been answered, but I'm looking at either an Analogue CMVS or an Omega Entertainment Machine. Is there any reason to go with the Analogue if I don't care about the wood casing? I mean, it's nice, but not an extra $150 nice. Are there any other differences? Let me know.

Thanks!

Short answer: no.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Buy an Omega, you'll be happier. Plus the seams won't split when it gets humid.
