I've expressed my interest in the 6-Player Widescreen version of the X-Men arcade game from Konami.
Can anybody top that one?

What makes a good arcade experience for you?

Sorry I can't top that one. X-Men 6 player is amazing and even when it was outdated it was still the most impressive cab in the arcades. (when there were still arcades around)

You're right about the X-Men cabinet! It was so cool to have that many people playing a game with you, Beats playing by yourself like now!

I think my favorite would have to be Sega's Hologram arcade system. The games may have been kinda lame, But it really made you feel like you had seen the future of gaming the first time you (Kinda)controlled the holograms!

I would like to buy that one, the simpsons, SFEX and SF3 from my local arcade, it appears that it's going out of business

You should definately get the Simpsons! The Simpsons, X-Men, Ninja Turtles 1+2, Captain Commando and a few others would be really nice multiplayers to have. Do you know how much it will be yet?

Not really, but this month I can only spend around $200, I doubt it will be expensive as the old games in that arcade are usually turned off, dunno if they work, but soldering isn't a problem to me and my local electronics store stocks arcade buttons.

Sounds like a great find! If I had more room I'd look for a Simpsons Bowling arcade game, I've never even seen one before. Have you bought any arcade games before?

Sadly no, but around 10 years ago, an uncle's friend owned an arcade that went out of business and he sold most of the cabinets for around 30~50, of course I didn't have a job at the time and my parents would not get any of those for me but judging from that I doubt old games are gonna be expensive, my uncle said that the monitor is pretty much what they are selling.

That's really cool! I thought they would cost an arm and a leg :P , But I guess I still have the kid in me that put as many quarters in them then as they'd cost now!

I would have to go with the 6-slot (king of cabs!) candy cab Neo-Geo MVS !
