Post by aaron »

http://www.skycurser.com/

some friends of mine just launched their site for their ongoing project SKYCURSER, which aims to be a self-described "Splatterhouse in the sky." so far it looks great and i'm really excited to see what they have in store. check it out if you get the chance.

this looks awesome! Do they plan an eventual PC release or will it remain arcade-only for the near future?

I'm def gonna keep up on their dev blog, as I find some of those fascinating.

That looks cool. I realize it's early in development, but man, what they have so far looks promising. And nasty. And awesome. I wanna play it.

Any idea what the final hardware specs are going to be? I'm guessing a custom PCB.

I get to play this tonight, and I couldn't be any more excited about it. If anyone is near Indianapolis (and I don't think you are...), hit me up here and come out and play this game for the first time!

Like the graphics, but I hope there'll be more to the gameplay than what's been shown so far.

Also, did the homepage get taken over by Russian domain squatters or something?

Necro-bump, but pre-orders for this have gone live. $699 for the Airframe hardware and the game, there are options for full artwork for a cabinet and a dedicated cab as well. More games are slated to be released within the next couple years. Pretty cool concept overall, and the game is great.
