[Indie] Town of Salem brings Mafia to Steam, browser and tab

Post by BlankMediaGames »

Hey guys,

I am Blake Burns, co-founder of BlankMediaGames and co-creator of the semi-popular indie game Town of Salem, currently sitting at a quarter million registered users. I love to hear feedback from people who just pick up the game so that is why I am posting here :D We just got our second Kickstarter funded to bring the game to Steam and mobile so I wanted to hear what people who aren't fans of the game think about things. The game is currently in live Beta and can be played through the browser and is currently rated the Best Indie game on Gamejolt.

Game Overview:

- Multiplayer flash game (up to 15 people per game)
- Free to play
- Browser based (PC/Mac only)
- No overhead to get in and start playing.
- Mafia/Werewolf style of gameplay

Town of Salem is all about deception and convincing others you aren't the bad guy. It is all about mind games and understanding the human psyche to get an edge over the other players in the game. It is a digital adaption of the party game Mafia (or Werewolf if you've played that one) set in the witch trial era in an alternate universe Salem, MA.

If you are a good guy, stay alive and find the murderers before you die. If you are a bad guy, lie and stay under the radar until you are the last one standing.

Let me know what you think of the game :)
