@Flake: if you enjoyed the other Crusin series with the same game engine BUT with additional car built up, you might enjoy this one. It is actually a port of The Fast and the Furious Arcade game, without the license for the film. Midway lost the license so they made it part of the Crusin series instead.

Also, Ultimate Shooting Collection.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
I could only find the Nunchuck, Classic and Gamecube controls, no sideways listed under the AllGame Guide.

Ultimate Shooting Collection
AllGame does show the DPad, but only with the A and B buttons as the action fire buttons.
This looks to be a vertically held Wiimote for control, not quite the NES sideways style.

Anyone who has these two games; can you confirm the NES option?

New Super Mario Bros which is already listed, is a one I'll have to eventually get!

Thanks to everyone for the additions. I'll add Muramasa and Ultimate Shooting if I can get a confirm on these two.

I added these other two games to the OP. :D

Have the SBCG4AP WiiWare in-game Fun Machine games been mentioned, or do they not count?

Strong Bad's Cool Game Mini Game
I'm guessing its the forth in the SBCG Wiiware series? I am adding any game that offers sideways control that emulates a real NES GamePad, even if just a mini game section of the main game. Can you post more detail on this mini game and its exact name so I can put a clear description of it in the OP?

I haven't read through the other posts, but I didn't see Pirates Plundarrr on the list and it uses the NES controls. I think motion controls can be used for one of the specials, but I am pretty close to beating the game and haven't used the motion controls yet, so I would say they are not a requirement... btw it is a pretty fun beat-em-up. Me and a buddy stayed up most of the night playing it on 2 player the other day and had a blast.

Also, The Monkey King and Saint both use the NES controls. I have barely played them so I can't say for sure if they use motion controls, but I don't think they do.

A Boy and his Blob I think uses the NES controls... I just picked it up recently and haven't played it yet

A Boy and his Blob does not have sideways control. I wish it did, I own both the NES and the Wii version and prefer the NES gamepad for this style of game. As a work around to get away from the Nunchuck, there is a Classic Controller option which also allows an Arcade Stick!

CRTGAMER wrote:Indicators to confirm when a game is not a Sideways NES style
The Nunchuck is used for movement, not the DPad. In addition, sometimes when a DPad is used for movement it might be with the Wiimote in the vertical position such as in the Wii game Impossible Mission. Another and sure way to confirm is if the primary action buttons are A and B, not 1 and 2.

The other two games have Sideways NES style control, added to the OP Thank You! :D

If I'm not mistaken, all 5 have mini games you play with the Wiimote sideways on the fun machine.

Dang that sucks. in the vids I have seen it looked like it would play very similar to the NES version that's why I assumed.... guess that's what I get for assuming

You're welcome :) You left off Saint, which is the sequel to Monkey king and plays pretty much identical.

I found a FAQ on one of the episodes which confirms the NES control in the mini game.

Thanks, added to the OP. I held off buying Monkey king since Wiimote Tilt is required to change the speed, this kills using my NES Controller add on. However, the AllGame site does not mention Tilt for Saint. Do you know if just the DPad and buttons are used?

Saint
