Nice write up on Pikmin. Definitely the most unique titles for the GameCube. Worth every penny! :)

THANKS! :D

I updated the Review with a screenshot and YouTube link of the Debug Menu.

It is unclear if these features are only on certain versions or regions of the Gamecube Pikmin disc. On my U.S Region 1.1 version I can only access a debug screen that shows the values of each object during a game. Maybe the 1.0 U.S. version has these features or if an older Action Replay can be coded to unlock the extras.

Scroll down for pics of various Gamecube controllers.

A Good Autofire Turbo Gamecube Controller for Twin Snakes?

I realized all my Gamecube controllers are the Nintendo brand which do not have an Autofire Turbo mode. Why don't 1st party controllers have Turbo??!! :?:

Anyways, I remember playing Metal Gear on the PS1, the Ocelot Torture level was a real pain! In order to win I would rapidly drag my finger back and forth across the button. A programmable Autofire controller finally made this a breeze. So now that I'm looking at hitting Gamecube Twin Snakes again, I dread getting to Ocelots Fun House without a Turbo Controller. :?

Any recommendations on a good Gamecube Turbo Controller?

I'm leaning towards the MadKatz Cubicon (not the Micron). There are others:

HipGear - Inexpensive and good size.

Intec - Separate Turbo and Program, Combo moves?

MadKatz Cubicon - Two Z Buttons! Does the Macro do turbo?

Interact Superpad - There is also a slide switch variation for turbo.

Pelican/Gamestop Controller - Pelican also made these for Gamestop

WU - I have no idea?

Hori - Tempting but expensive and prefer wired.

You don't need a turbo controller. You only tap one button. Surely you could manage?

FYI, that Hori controller is a classic controller for Wii and is wired.

Rapid button tapping is not hard.

Ahh! That is easier! The PS1 version required a rapid "Summer Games" two button sequence.

Please enough with cheat opinions, I just need HELP on 3rd party controllers?

@ swiftzx - Thanks, the Hori looks very tempting and not because of just the name reputation. The individual slide switches to set Autofire intensity draws me to this one.

but I think he was saying it's a Wii controller that will not work for GameCube. Or did I misunderstand?
