I was just reading up on all of the hidden stuff in GTA V and the rabbit hole is very very deep and people are still digging. Exciting stuff!

Interesting. Maybe what I have is considered the SE? I don't know. I don't remember more than one physical version being available?

EDIT: I assume you read this? http://www.pcgamer.com/help-us-solve-gt ... onspiracy/ It's seriously fascinating.

I don't have a black light, but my game did come w/ a map... maybe I should get a black light!

I played quite a bit last night. I still can't get the hang of driving using kb/m.

I did some more cruising aimlessly. This time looking for highways.

First things first, I figured I should buy a gun... just in case.

Eventually I found myself at the foot of a mountain. I had a hunch it might be the fated Mount Chilean, but I was ignoring maps, opting for blind discovery. I climbed, and climbed (AND CLIMBED!). I kept thinking I was at the top, only to then see far more to climb. It was impressive and I wished that the Steam overlay was working with this game so I could take screenshots. I find the cellphone camera thing kind of a pain compared to just hitting F12.

I finally got to the top of the mountain around sunset. I scared a couple tourists that were up there and they ran down the mountain in terror. I hopped on a dirt bike and whizzed up and down the side of the mountain before hopping on a tramway. I thought it would give me a cool view, but when I got to the bottom I was bummed it wouldn't take me back up. I was hoping for a more epic way to get down the mountain.

By now it was night time, so I started down the highway on the dirt bike. Eventually I got into a wreck and woke up in some pretty ghost-town looking place in the desert. It was quiet and I didn't really want to walk, so I fired a headshot through the windshield of a truck. The truck started doing donuts before hitting a telephone pole. I hopped in and fled from the sirens I started hearing.

Hopped back on the highway a drove for a while. Left the truck on a bridge and went exploring a beach I came across. Snuck through some back yards and boosted a car out of a driveway. Found myself in suburbia. Stopped to get a haircut and then called a cab. The cab ride was painfully slow, so I hopped out and walked the rest of the way back home. When I got home I watched some crazy anime on TV for a while.

I figured it was time to start playing some of the story.

So I did some more repossession jobs, and then got involved in some neighborhood stuff. Worked a towtruck, got involved in a kidnapping. I accidentally witnessed a mugging, so I decided to snipe the mugger in the head and then haul ass back home to hide out.

Normally I hate stealth missions, but the one where you meet Michael is pretty fun.

Then I switched to Michael and went off exploring more as him. Ultimately I beat up some guys outside of a convenience store, stole their sports car, drove way too fast, crashed it, and tried to hide back at the same convenience store in the break room. The cops found me pretty fast.

I love the stories Noise! Don't stop!

My first experience wow moment was sitting in my car, going on a joy ride in first person mode, a mode that I am sticking to almost 100% except for the small moments when I need to shoot while driving (because the camera is a bit weird) or when I am towing a vehicle (because I can not line it up right). When driving, I just see my little dashboard displaying the radio information, having some sweet music tuned in and going crazy. I ended up flipping the car, hitting a statue in one of the central plazas. When I crawled out, everyone had run away except for one guy who had his cell phone out to record it.

I went into a rage, charging the guy and knocking him down, beating him up for his invasion of my privacy. If I want to smash into a statue, I can damn well smash into a statue!

Another great moment was picking up some hitchhikers as Trevor, having them bang in the back seat of my car (which you could see in first person mode) and sacrifice them to a bunch of cultists on top of a mountain. Good times!

Lastly, as Michael, I was having a friendly bike ride with my lovely son. He tells me not to shoot the bike rental guy. I walk up to the bike rental guy, he points me to the bicycles and I shoot him in the head.....Poor guy.

I think I have a problem.

I just can't get the hang of driving in first person mode. I flail hopelessly all over the road. It's terrible. So because of that I've stuck pretty much to just playing 3rd person w/ a controller instead. Sometimes I switch to first person, keyboard & mouse for shooting sections. The mouse is great for that.

The last few sessions I've been going through the story mode. I actually really enjoy Michael's character and story. I just finished that bike ride myself, and the following porn-boat section. Now I'm working on setting up a heist since I did some major damage to an expensive mansion in a jealous rage.

But I like dabbling in exploration between story missions. There's just so much to do in this game. I spent some time just going into peoples' back yards and seeing if I could jump off of stuff into their pools. (SPOILER: I could).

I'm also planning to compile my own radio station soon.

Also, with the tons of stuff that you can stumble across onto makes things seem fresh and interesting. I mean, I saw a police shootout right outside of Michael's House that had two cop cars. It was intense, definitely something you don't see everyday when you are walking to get your paper.

I have yet to do so, but I think that when I get Trevor into the downtown area, it will be a number one priority!

I saw a girl on the boardwalk who looked like my wife, so I decided to follow her and see where she was going. She actually walked quite a while up through San Andreas. It seemed so weird to see this barefoot girl in a bikini walking through the city at night. What I was curious about is if Rockstar made homes for these NPC's. Or if it was programmed that NPC's would go to specific businesses or something. Anyway, I never found out because eventually there was a police shootout in the city and the girl got scared and ran off screaming.

Anyway, the jewelry heist went off without a hitch. And now I'm working on some of Trevor's bit of story mode.

I took another hike up Mt. Chilead and decided to parachute off of it. I tried to land in somebody's pool, but missed and came down on their roof. Then I ran down to the beach during sun-up and decided to go for a swim. I wondered how far out I could make it in the ocean before tiring myself out. But stamina wasn't the problem. After about ten minutes of swimming north off the coast I was eaten by a shark. (Hey! You apparently get an achievement for that!)

I know! I was lucky last night. Got to play for a whole whopping 20 minutes! In that time I went to a gas station, picked up a jerry can and poured a trail of gasoline that twisted through the cars parked there, the gas pumps and fuel tanks just next to the gas station proper. I don't know why the cops started to come, but they shot me to death the moment I went to ignite it. Curse you cops!
