What single player FPS campaign are you playing?

I know they aren't the most popular genre on the forums, but a few of us play FPSs old and new quite often - and play them primarily for the single player campaign. So, what single player campaign are you playing through?

As for me...

In anticipation of Killzone 3 later this month, I am currently replaying the campaign for Killzone 1 and Killzone 2 (previously I got "stuck" in one, but loved playing through two). I think that these are some of the best looking games from each respective gen, though KZ1's gameplay is lacking in many ways. KZ2 is ace. Anyway, I have a few other games in the genre I hope to get to soon...some I have shamefully never played!

How about you? What are you fragging?

I blasted through F.E.A.R. and both expansions a month or so ago. I'll probably be doing a run through F.E.A.R. 2 here soon. Still reaping the rewards of the Steam sale

I am a big fan of all those games, although the expansions weren't as good as FEAR 1. FEAR 2 blows all of them out of the water as far as I am concerned, at least in terms of gameplay. Enjoy! FEAR 3 is coming out soon!

I did a FEAR 2 runthrough when it was on sale over Christmas, and now I'm playing through Dark Forces. I'm not really liking the level design of the mission I'm on, though, so I've put it down for a bit.

Personally, I've stalled out on FPSs for the moment. Played Crysis and Mirror's Edge last fall, nothing has grabbed me since. But I do like single player FPS campaigns. Maybe this thread will inspire me to play something.

Same here, and Im going to guess it is either level 3 or 4 you dont like. Those are the two worst stages in the game (if I remember correctly). I finished stage 8 at lunch today. I started playing it because Planescape Torment got boring (stupid Ravel hiding things).

Very riveting story, full of character development and social analysis. A coming of age tale for all ages.

Yeah, it's level 4. I had problems with level 3 til I found the specific hole I needed to jump to. In level 4 I think I got myself in a bad state, so I gave up and am starting again. Platforming like this doesn't belong in an FPS. The little bit they did in HL (not counting Xen, which sucked) was ok, but the Dark Forces engine just isn't up to the task of what they're having us do.
