Play this demo! The Joylancer: Legendary Motor Knight

This game is still in alpha but it feels absolutely great to play. Similar to how Shovel Knight felt like the perfect SNES game, Joylancer feels like the perfect Gameboy game.

After playing this a little more, I think I might have jumped the gun with my excitement of this game. The controls feel nice, but they don't always fit that well with the level design and I'm not sure I really like the battle mechanics. It's cool and has some nice Gameboy style, but it needs more work from it's alpha state before it can reach the level of a Shovel Knight or Freedom Planet.
