I'm sort of confused about the episodic thing. Is the plan that eventually all the episodes will be released as a single game disc? Does episode 1 feel especially short, like only part of a game, or does it feel like a full length game of its own?

For a second I thought this was related to Half Life 2.

It definitely didn't feel like a full fledged game to menoiseredux wrote:I'm sort of confused about the episodic thing. But for more reasons than just its length.

Fixing physics is a start, as they were atrocious in Ep 1. Also: homing in side scrolling = no.
Can they put the Sonic Generations folks on this?

Are you guys still in shock over how good Sonic Generations is? I know I am. In fact, playing Generations makes me realize that Sonic is still relevant. There's no other platformer that delivers that kind of adrenaline rushing, speedy gameplay. It's what always made Sonic stand out and they've recaptured that

Yeah still can't wait to play Generations (and check out Colors).
Hopefully with S4E2 (eh? lol) here they fix the physics, if they're doing a new "engine" for that...

Haven't played Sonic 4 but from what I heard/seen it seems like they took the original Sonic formula and screwed it up somehow. Hopefully the new episode will make it more like generations (which I've watched a demo for and it looks awesome).
