Not enough people ever tried to copy the winning formula for Ghosts n Goblins, so indie game freeware superstar Locomalito has been working on this game called Maldita Castilla that is a proper Ghosts n Goblins clone. There's a demo now and the full game to come later.

This is fantastic! The music is awesome! But I'm gonna try to get in touch with the author and see if a real 320x240 mode is possible like in SORR. I haven't worked in GameMaker (this game's engine) but I'm fairly confident it can do it. The CRT "emulation" is cool, though!
