Moon Diver (aka Necromachina)

Post by wip3outguy7 »

Older topic located in fighters sub-forum: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=22856&p=386553&hilit=moon+diver#p386553

Decided to create a new thread in the right place. Actually, was the Playtformers sub-forum even around back then? ...anyway

The demo is up on PSN now. Go get it!

I spent an hour with it last night and it's a fuckin' blast. It plays like a combo of Strider, Devil May Cry and Symphony of the Night. The controls are tight and responsive and your character can really get around. I can't wait to try out 4 player coop. $14.99 is pretty steep IMO, but I may break down and get it anyway.

any that are PSP PSN titles that you'd strongly recommend?

Aside from the slew of PSP games available as a digital download and all the PS1 classics, the pickings are pretty slim.

I'd suggest the Thexder remake, Super Stardust Portable and Everyday Shooter for some decent shumps though. If you liked echochrome (it's also on the PSP PSN), there's a PSP exclusive sequel called echoshift that's pretty cool too.

There are a bunch of minis too, but I don't know anything of them.

Same here. I played Strider for the rest of the night instead of buying the full game.

I think I'm going to buy Moon Diver simply because it feels almost like Strider 3. I loved Strider 2 for psone and this game really reminds me of that.

It entertained me for the night. Still deciding if I'll get MD now or later.
