Mega Man 7 and 8 demakes FTW!

Post by jfe2 »

I want to thank GSZX1337 and Anapan for turning me on to these, but I just discovered some old ass news that is new to me, and figured that if its new to me, some others may not have seen it either. Apparently someone remade Mega Man 7, and are in the beta stages of remaking Mega Man 8, as 8-bit Famicom style versions.

For anyone who was bothered by the giant sprites in 7 and 8, like I was, this is seriously awesome stuff. I'll post some links that were originally provided by GSZX1337 and Anapan in another topic, and once I'm done with Mega Man 10 on XBLA, I'll get started on the demake of 7 and post my thoughts here.

HURRAY FOR OLD SCHOOL!

Anyone know if these will work on mac? If not, any work around? My old PC sucks and probably wouldn't be able to run these very well.

I'm not sure if its possible to play in fullscreen, but you can go to the config file and make the window bigger. Thanks to Hobie-wan for helping me figure that out!
