Looking for a great platform game to play, please help.

Post by ZeroAX »

So I'm looking for a platform game to play on any system from these:

NES,SNES,GameBoy,Mega Drive

Thing is I want a platform game where you jump on heads, like Mario, Sonic or Donkey kong. No shooting, no throwing items at them no sword fighting, I want to jump on heads.

So anyone know any games outside the Mario/Wario/Sonic/DonkeyKong franchises that I'm going to like, that are about jumping on heads?

oui, and it's not a head jumping game. It's a limbs throwing game

yes it is, it's fun, but not quite as good as Sonic/Mario/Donkey Kong

it seams I am doomed for eternity to only like the best in platform games, and never being able to enjoy other lesser games

bah. I don't think I've ever played a more bland and boring platform game. Or at least one that was actually considered good.

Really I'm very picky with my platformers. Perhaps it's because I've played to death the classics and everything else doesn't compare.

Well at least this autumn I'm getting many great platformers for the Wii (Donkey Kong, Kirby, Epic Mickey, Jett Rocket)

I reckon you may be too strict for there to be a solution.

Maybe you can play on different platforms? There may be some interesting stuff in Amiga or PC you haven't played.

hm true. I think there was a good Animaniacs game on PC. Amiga I tried what some people called the best and didn't really like them.

Also I can't help being strict mate. Platform games have amazing replay value. So if I can't find something as good as my favorite games I just play those again.

But I wish I could find some new good games to play. New experiences and all
