Aladdin for SNES is great. You can throw apples but if I remember right it's pretty much exclusively jump on heads.

I will have to check them out again. You may very well be correct. I remember them being pretty good 15 years ago, but I have not really played them since then. They are both sitting in my collection; so, I may break them out tonight (and possibly disillusion myself regarding their quality).

Rocket Knight Adventure! But I don't think it involves head jumping. Also Ristar!
Those are my 2 favorite platformers outside of mario/sonic/donkey kong.
You could also try Braid its a lot of fun and you jump on heads.

As someone mentioned earlier, Ristar. But dont forget Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel. I believe it was released for both Genesis ans SNES. Its a spin off of Aero the Acrobat.

tried most of them (bubsy did not work).
Can't say I really liked any of them though
Oh well. Going to play Sonic for the 1000th time. Hopefully this autumn we'll get some great platform games.

See I remember liking them 15 years ago too, but then I tried and played one of them last year...

I played Bubsy 3D on the playstation. Thought it was shit. Still wonder who thought having a control setting where you move your character like he's a car was a good idea.

I saw one screenshot of Bubsy 3D and that was all I needed to know.

I can't shake the feeling that ZeroAX actually DOESN'T like platform games but just thinks he does.
