Custom Steam Tiles Thread *IMAGE HEAVY*

by Cronozilla Mon Mar 16, 2015 11:07 pm

I like using the tile interface with steam, but a lot of tiles generally have something wrong with them, either they're junk, have review scores, or don't exist in the case of non-steam games. Also, sometimes, tiles for mac and windows versions are identical.

Over time I've made various tiles for myself and others and have plenty more and I just figured I'd share them here for anyone who'd like to use them, and if anyone has some custom ones they'd like to share they can do that here too.

Basically it is for the grid view if you use that. Most people on PC use the list style however there is also a grid style view. Also Big Picture mode which some people use also displays the game library using the tiles.

I have some of these I've made for non-Steam games. I'll throw them up when I get the chance.

The only games I'm missing grid banners for are Skullgirls Endless Beta, Chivalry Beta and Company of Heroes (New Steam Version).

Hopefully someone else can make banners for the latter two, because I just don't care that much for either of them. Here's one I threw together for Skullgirls though.

I didn't know you could add custom tiles. Oh dear... now I have to decide if I want to be a freak about tidying up my Steam library for all of my non-Steam games.

How do you add the tiles?

When you have your library in the grid view mode or if you are using big picture you just right click on the games tile and select set custom image then find it on your harddrive.

How would you want this organized? Do you want all picture posts to go into the original? Do you want all users to have just one post with all their pictures in it?

Anyway, here's one for MAME.
