I understand and respect collecting but it's beyond me why someone would spend $30,000 + on that cart.

I'm wondering if those bids are real or if they are just trolling. In my area you can buy a half way decent house for $60k (it will need some work though), so to think that people would spend half a house worth of cash on an ugly, torn up, not-fun-to-play game is f'n crazy to me.

Undoubtedly fake bids. In fact, sellers want these sort of shill bids to draw attention to their auction. They then handle a sale in private.
