Most people who are even remotely interested already have most of what is being sold and don't want to put the work in to selling the rest one by one.
You basically have to find someone who wants a collection but isn't into the fun of building it on their own. Kinda rare.
I've been trying to sell a Famicom collection for like 3 years locally, lol. Even if i price it at $4 CAD per game (x the amount of games) i get nothing heh. I don't care if it sells or not though.
You are right and you have a good point. Most collectors seek to build their own collection, not to buy one.
And most Game Boy collectors already have some or most of the games that I am selling.
But I can add a couple of more people that could buy a collection:
- A collector that looks to jump into another console.
- A new collector that wants to get a good start instead of slowly building up from scratch.
- A simple gamer that looks to play those games in original instead of emulators (pretty much that was me, I am more of a retro gamer, not a collector)
