Oh I've played it, it's better than say Heavy Rain. The story starts off like that, but nothing wrong with some nostalgic charm. It definitely evolves into crazier things as it goes though, and considering every single character can potentially die at some point, I think the game probably has way more replay value than Heavy Rain and those types. There's a lot more experimentation you can do.

My friend owns it so that's how I've seen it all. Good enough for me to want to buy it and run through it myself.

Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4) Preorders are open it's listed at $29.99 but there is a $6.00 off credit that shows up at checkout if you are a prime member.

Basically Amazon is trying to compete with Best Buys GCU program so most of the preorders that have opened up recently have had 20% off promos for prime members. Most of it's not publicized very well though so you have to test and see if the promo pops up at check out, but it's been there for pretty much everything I've looked at.

That's awesome since I got prime on the 1st, have to keep that in mind for something I'd really want. I'm curious about that one, but I think the 20% off would be really nice on Uncharted 4. And $8 off new 3DS games is bringing them close to the old $30 handheld game price too.

After setting up prime I may rarely ever buy a game again locally as I am not so high strung and desperate that I have to have it the second the box is opened at the store. I can wait a couple days and even then under preorder I think Amazon tries to ship early to get it on the day of release anyway.

Save money on game, save money on gas, save time not going somewhere too -- total win win win on that.

Yeah I'm glad to see them do it. Still not as good as GCU at Bestbuy which simply gives you 20% off all new games plus they have $10 gift card preorder promos for most popular games as well as rewards points, but it's nice to see them competing.

It is better as the games will also 2-day or sometimes release day ship to your house free.

Best Buy does release day shipping as well free with orders over $35. The gift card promos are what really makes it though. For instance I preordered The Division back at the beginning of December during a promotion so I got a $10 perorder gift card + an additional $10 gift card for a weekly promotion. So that comes to $12 off with CGU + $20 in gift cards for preordering, and 50 rewards points(250 points= $5 gift card) bringing the cost effectively down to $28 so over %50 off pretty much. GCU does cost $30 every two years but it saved me that much within my first two orders.

As far as the quality of their release day shipping goes my copy of Halo 5 was 2 days late but that was thanks to it getting held up for a few days by UPS. My copy of LoH Trails of Cold Steel showed up on release though.

I have been annoyed by Amazons shitty packaging. Shipping CEs in bubble mailers. :x

Yeah no retailer seems to use common sense when packaging collector's editions and/or stuff in jewel cases. Doesn't take a genius to understand bubble mailers are a bad idea when light crushable boxes or brittle plastic is involved.
