any chance anyone's got a key for Deus Ex: Human Evolution? It's the next game I'll be giving a whirl on PC Gamer's Top 100 list... but given how much I disliked the original Deus Ex, I'm not thrilled w/ spending $20 on this one.

$8 at DLGamer big homey: http://www.dlgamer.us/download-deus_ex_ ... 21479.html

And worth it too, imo. I've played like 2 minutes of the OG Deus Ex, so I can't compare, but I had a grand time with this.

oh nice! I can deal w/ $8.

I do have a bit more faith that I'll enjoy this one versus the original. But we'll see.

If anything, you'll appreciate the unintentionally hilarious voice acting for Adam Jensen.

I stalled and just saw that Amazon has Human Revolution on sale for $5 today.

Even better! Although is that the original or the Director's Cut? I haven't done the DC myself, but I heard they rebalanced the boss fights—which is a good thing.

Director's Cut.

I'm just glad I found it so cheap. My expectations are low on this one.

Feel free to keep them low, but Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a great game.

I think Deus Ex and Human Revolution are both great games, but in very different ways. And Deus Ex doesn't hold up mechanically very well.
