Gamecube Intec screen for $45?

by sabrage Mon Feb 20, 2012 7:59 am

From the CL listing:
Includes:
LCD Screen
Cable to attach to Gamecube (includes power plug where Gamecube power adapter attaches to power both)
Car adapter for road trips (powers both Gamecube and LCD Screen)
Has an AV port so you can attach a VCR or DVD player and watch movies instead
Built-in Stereo Speakers (headphones can be used as well)
Brightness and Volume adjustment wheels
*Has normal cosmetic wear. Screen has light scuffs, but no deep scratches - everything could just be buffed out. This is not visible during play.
*Everything is fully functioning

He didn't provide a picture of it, though he did mention it was black. He also mentioned that "these things are going for some pretty ridiculous prices on Amazon and eBay" so I doubt there's any chance I could talk him down any further. Should I let this one pass, or will I end up regretting that later?

Thanks, I was looking at current auctions and there doesn't seem to be any up (and the Amazon premium has them at $100+)

Prices vary, got mine for ten bucks at the Swap Meet. Definitely not Component internally, it uses the regular N64-Gamecube video connector. When I have my Gamecube set to 480p the portable LCD blanks and only has sound. My guess is it is either Composite or SVideo.

To use other consoles, the Auxilary input is Composite and Mono Audio only and unique, you will need a cable with two RCA to a "Stereo Mini Plug" Input.

Be sure to get the proprietary power adaptor cable on the left with the GC Intec LCD.

These are going for a pretty penny these days! I got one today off of FBM, but unfortunately didn't grab the power adapter and now it's gone. :| :| :|

I’ve got a new in package screen and a CIB battery. Scored a great deal a couple years ago. I wanted it when I had my GameCube collection but having since sold it off I should think about putting this up. I don’t think I’d use it with my new smaller collection and as mentioned would probably sell for a pretty penny.

I had a pixel-rotted one I've since ripped apart to use as spare parts. I likely still have the power adapter in a ziploc bag of spare connectors. I'd be happy to have a look and if I have it I'd mail it to you for free when I get back home in 20 days. PM me if interested.
