Looking for a Playasia affiliate partner

by Inazuma Thu Dec 01, 2011 4:29 am

I shop at Playasia a lot. It's where I usually buy my new games. I know they have an affiliate program, and I've been thinking that I should start using it. It would be nice to just use it myself but that's against the rules.

So that's why I made this topic. Maybe I can swap affiliate urls with someone and we can help each other out every time we buy from Playasia.

I successfully signed up for the affiliate program but I don't know how to get my actual affiliate url. I emailed Playasia about it and they said they only provide banner links. Well, surely there would be a text version of the banner link that I could use. If someone could help me get a text url affiliate link, that would be great.

if I'm understanding correctly: you want to subject people to advertisements?

I think it's like Amazon affiliates where you just click through their link to the site and they get credit.

BTW, if you're pre-ordering games you may want to look to AmiAmi instead. They often have better prices than Play-Asia. Jus' sayin'.

Oh wow. You are right. I compared the prices on two different new games and AmiAmi was $10 cheaper for one and $20 cheaper for another! 0_0

It looks like AmiAmi doesn't charge import mark up fees. They charge the exact same price as they do to people in Japan. They also have SAL shipping available, so shipping shouldn't cost that much either. What a great store. I wish I knew about this place years ago.

ZenErik, thanks so much. If AmiAmi happens to have an affiliate program, I would love to use your url to buy stuff with.

I may still end up using Playasia for some stuff, like if AmiAmi doesn't have it, so I could still do the affiliate partner thing with someone.

*edit*
OK, I bought some stuff from AmiAmi. This is much cheaper than every other import store! Even if you factor in the holiday coupons, Playasia would cost considerably more. This store is awesome. (^_^)
