This month I got a 40" Sony Internet TV: here is the specs; http://www.amazon.com/Sony-NSX-40GT1-40 ... B004BB4VVI

It retails for $599. Goodwill price was $449. I'm also a rewards member and I get 10% off anything $20 or more.

So I walked out the door with it for $214.

   That is a very very good price! I played around a little with a huge white remote with a Google Sony TV at a store it was intriguing but pricey. Does the Sony Internet TV go direct to the web or does it get routed first to a Sony server?

I did not know about the Saturday thing. Is it 50% off every month on the 1st Saturday?

Again, thanks to Noiseredux and his Together Retro mention of D7 from Wipers -- this is probably my greatest non-game find EVAR

A *rare* CD copy of the 1986 Wipers album Land of The Lost. This is a 1991 reissue from Germany, where Wipers were much bigger than here in the States, and it was purchased on Ebay in 2005 for $41.

yeah 50% off every month on the 1st saturday, me and my mom have been doing it for a few months now.

I think it goes direct to the web, I haven't done much with it yet but it does have a netflix app, twitter app, and uses google chrome. i'm also streaming video from my laptop in my office to the tv in my room. overall i'm happy with spending the money i really didnt have :)

if you do indeed think these qualify for a "Finds" thread let me suggest this one: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=10186

of course I know that. I've posted lots there already.

but since they are mostly movies, I put it here.

Gotta promote the thread I created!
