Yes, we can have nice things!-post your non gaming finds

by flojocabron Mon Dec 20, 2010 3:24 am

I think it may be time to start another thread similar to "videogame finds of the day"

But with other cool items of interest!

The holidays are comming up so there may soon be other people here with cool finds or gifts that they got that may not fall under videogames.

so to start it off, heres what I got recently...

*2 Gundam model kits unassembled $4.00 each
*one Transformer (name unknown) $2.00
*two action figures: Mulder, and woman from movie Hellboy $0.75 each
*four Volumes of manga $2.00 each

what are your finds?

I got a pre-assembled Gelgoog Marine once for a couple of bucks, but I like the look of the Char's Gelgoog you have there better.

I liked Worst, Shaman King was decent then turned into a complete clusterfuck, I think War on Flesh is one of those tokyopop "American Manga" things, and FMA is amazing.

Maybe we can have separate categories for music, books and beanie baby finds.

Don't see a reason for yet another finds post. The Video Game Finds is actually a popular catch all for Great Deals discovered. A one spot thread to look at all unique and rare items found. I posted my Ninja Turtles DVD player along with Video games in the same pics there.

Oh come on that's being overly dramatic. That one is titled 'VG finds'. Since this is a VG site I can see having one for that and a catch all for everything else. I've posted non game finds in there, but usually in conjunction with something gaming related.

I favor the VG finds and then a catchall for others.

My recent other nongaming find was four geode based pcs a friend of mine was getting rid of. These little 400mhz pcs would fit in a lunchbox and I can run all four off of one 300 watt power supply.
