Noticed that "Renowned Explorers: International Society" is also on GOG Connect, if you happen to have that in your Steam library.

So about GOG Galaxy. Not sure why but I just downloaded it to see what the deal was.

Having a weird thing going on with it I can't quite relate to what the FAQ and program itself says it should do vs what it is doing.

It didn't pick up all my games, I know this is a known, but it says if you go into the game, and then tell it to scan for it manually and add it that it should do it.

Problem is, it's not. What it seems to be doing is re-downloading and installing the game over the existing copy which is a colossal waste of bandwidth and time as well. As an annoying bonus, it appears to be doing the same thing on stuff it DID find as well. I'm watching it go game by game down a list of over 90 items and doing this between the manually added in stuff (some which isn't even that old to the service like TIE Fighter and Wing Commander Prophecy) and I don't get it.

If the version you had installed locally isn't 100% up to date then it'll redownload over it. I found that when I first installed Galaxy the games I had recently installed were picked up fine, but the other stuff needed to be blown away because they refactored things. This especially hit games that were bundles; things like M&M 1-6 had some major changes to their file structure to support the refactor they did from a single shelf bundle to the six individual titles.
