I don't know whether my region affects pricing, but ME2 standard is $30 here and deluxe goes for $36.

Son of a bitch. I just loaded up the Fallout 3 GOTY and it went and wanted to update Windows Live. I specifically hadn't bought the expansions last year because you had to buy them from WL before for the normal game on Steam and Live is a flaming piece of shit. I assume you'll have to be logged onto Live to play the expansions. I specifically didn't get the expansions for F3 last year after buying the Steam version because of this shit. :x

Deus Ex and it's sequel are for sale at an incredible $2.50 each.

Except that it only applies to games written to take advantage of it. All the old stuff, like the Id pack and Deus Ex can be yanked out of the directory after being downloaded and passed around like a cheap hooker.

Not purchasing, then! I'm a sucker for DRM.

Give me a good reason why I shouldn't buy Deus Ex on Steam. I already have a copy of the game that somebody gave me, but it doesn't work on Windows 7, will this work without having to fuck around?

First EA sell a bunch of apps for 59p on appstore, now this. I swear, it's these 'oh it's only a couple of quid' deals that make me poor.

I bought the Deux Ex pack a couple months back and it runs fine on Vista 64 Ultimate. When it first loaded, I had the typical issues others had found on the Steam boards with the color palate being screwed up. I found a quick, clean fix, on the Steam boards and it worked flawlessly after that. I recommend it.... surely it'll work on Win7 if I can get it to work on Vista.

There's an improved renderer for Deus Ex that makes life so much better on modern OS's.

I bought it, runs like a charm here on 7 Pro.
