The super powers do take away from stealing vehicles, but the game is still just as crazy. It may be the best version of super heroes in a video game that I have ever played.

Yeah vehicles aren't as important. In Gat Outta Hell the vehicles are downright broken, moving insanely slow and blowing up spontaneously. there is zero point in using them.

Trilogy of platformers with a cute girl protagonist and "swinging" mechanics à la Bionic Commando. Crushingly difficult with some trippy aesthetics. These aren't PC exclusives. The first game was originally on Super Famicom, second game was originally on PSX (later ported to PSP and DS), and the third game was originally on 3DS (later ported to the Vita).

Note that these are the only English releases of the first two games. The third can also be found on the Nintendo eShop (3DS) under the title Yumi's Odd Oddyssey.

Hardcoregaming101 also has a writeup on the series from a few years ago.

The first one use to be a stupidly expensive SFC game ($200+), but it is now in the $50 range. Excellent platformer.

It's also in the DS' Shun Second Edition Kanzenban, and apparently in Sayonara Umihara Kawase Chirari on the Vita.

I just, hardcore, impulse bought a cart + manual listing after reading this--. Always thought I'd just be making due with Shun. The bottom must have dropped out on this game pretty recently, no?

Alan Wake is being delisted from Steam and all digital stores on May 15 due to music rights running out:

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/0 ... steam-gog/

Steam is offering it for 90% off until it's gone starting at 1PM EDT. GOG will be following with a sale of their own.

NOTE: Alan Wake's American Nightmare is unaffected and will remain on all stores, but it is also 90% off on Steam.
