So that now I am indoctrinated into the culture of Steam I nearly forgot about the awesome sale they got going on. For just under $25 I got the following -

Heretic + Hexen Collection
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Rambo
Homefront
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Trilogy
Serious Sam Complete Pack

A ton of FPS that GOG doesn't have yet, but watch them pickup in the next year

Argh Heretic and Hexen is on Steam and not GoG? >:\ Must resist temptation, love Heretic. Truth be told I never paid for the full Wolf3D or either DOOM, my first full all campaign iD buy was Heretic and loved it. Been wanting to play it again for a long time now, but I've yet to find a used copy of the dumb disc anywhere and never bothered with online. That shows up I'm totally in.

You'd think with all the other id stuff GOG already has, they don't have those, and they're some real fine FPS stuff there. But of course now that I bought all this stuff, I expect an announcement in their community forums sometime in 2017 saying "WE GOT [NAME OF GAME I BOUGHT ON STEAM DURING THE 2016 WINTER SALE]"

If any of those games do get connected I wouldn't mind purchasing them again.

I had no idea that Serious Sam collection was originally $99.99. It's 90% off and has every game and DLC you can think of in the series.

Plus, Heretic and Hexen will work in Doomsday Engine. That's awesome.

Definitely agree, with Heretic is still uses those classic WAD files DOOM uses so you can just toss it into any of those high end 2D/3D front ends and it comes up running like a champ.

Much as series fans seem to complain about 4, I really enjoyed it, as have local friends (at least).

Tempting to get on PC as well at that price.
