Won a couple of eBay auctions at awesome closing prices.
Fighters Megamix - .30
Dragon Force RAM Cart - 2.50
5 dollar shipping on each. I'm surprised no one outbid me on the RAM cart.

Ooh, lots of Diablo Goodness. The Hellfire expansion for the first one is harder to find, but it is pretty good and there's a minor hack to add in 2 more character classes as well that were being developed, but were dropped at the last moment.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I Drove over 100 miles Again
Road Trip for A Road Trip
I just did this not too long ago with GBA Activision Anthology.
GBA Road Trip Shifting Gears - $4.99
http://www.gamestop.com/gba/games/road-trip/32704
Ever since I purchased the Gamecube Road Trip about a month ago, I have been on the hunt for the GBA cart. The cart is not a half bad racer on the small screen. The main reason is the extra unlocks, when linked up the the Gamecube. Okay I gained a hurdle jump, no Crazy Taxi 2 but interesting. A bonus X car in there somewhere too. Like the Gamecube, the GBA Choro Q cars are customizable. many cars to unlock, a crazed "Pokemon" collect them all.
During the confirm in stock phone call, the Store Manager offered to mail the game down to me to save the hour drive. I told him that is okay, been looking too long and besides the main game I was making the "Road Trip" was at another Gamestop close by.
GBA Castlevania Double Pack - $9.99
http://www.gamestop.com/gba/games/castlevania-aria-harmony-2-pack/41775
I bought this game a while ago only to discover it was a Bootleg Cart! The game would not save due to an internal dead battery. Hobie pointed out the original uses flash memory and had a different label.
Take a guess which GBA Cart is the fake.
I found the Castlevania GBA cart 80 miles away at the Gamestop link.
First the phone call:
"Do you have GBA Castlevania Double Pack?"
"Hang on, Yeah found it."
"Does the cart have just the title or is there a pic too?"
"Just words."
"Okay I'm calling from 80 miles away I'll be up there a little over an hour"
short shocked quiet pause ........ "Okay, what's your name, I'll hold it for you."
To pass the drive time I threw in Rolling Stones Hot Rocks, ironic the very first song is "Time is on my side."
I bought the cart, confirmed the flash memory verifying a game save. I asked the employee to print out a couple obscure games in case a local Gamestop up there had any in stock.
One I have been looking for is a complete PS2 Taito Legends. Anyone have this?
While waiting for the printouts I discovered a nice bonus surprise on the shelf!
PS2 Final Fantasy XII Collectors Edition - $9.99
http://www.gamestop.com/ps2/games/final-fantasy-xii/41931
Crazy thing about Gamestop pricing. The Collectors Edition is the same Sku and the same price! Throw in the fact that this one was once available new as an exclusive only at Gamestop and EB. In a collectors tin with an extra bonus disc. A DVD packed full of bonus stuff. The highlight is video describing each Final Fantasy in the series. Now I can see why Final Fantasy VII is such a collectible. Not only is it the first for the PS1, but all the great mini games previewed in the DVD! Maybe one day FFXII CE may be worth something too, the bonus DVD video is good. Tin case is also very purty, it gets a Japanese plastic protector bag treatment
ONE of the few games that will not work with HDAdvance or HDLoader.
Addendum to the Marathon Drive Game Hunt
I'm keeping those two Gamestops in mind, especially the Store manager that is willing to send any game down, even gave my his business card when I got up there. They had some dot Hack games in stock, silly me passing up the bonus DVDs.
As for the bootleg Castlevania cart? I could return it in exchange for buying a real cart. After all I did buy that fake a while back at another Gamestop. I think I'll keep both, maybe even solder in a replacement battery one day. A memory of the fun drive.
I have another collectors tin I had to show off. Exclusive only from F.Y.E., Ironman DVD in "Hot Rod Red".
