I started one on Wii U exclusive games. Not the same as rare/valuable but I'm sure there is some overlap.

That game's normal going price CIB (which is the condition it ended up being when it got delivered) is about $90 or $100 (with the odd $60 listing popping up on rare occasions).

I'd say that was a pretty good snag, especially since it ended up being CIB.

Do you enjoy the game? seems to have pretty low scores, also its on the PS3.

Not a fan of collecting rare games for the sake of it being rare.

I'm going for a full North American Wii U set. I'm only about 40 games short.

I bought another Sony FD Trinitron WEGA for cheap. It came with a matching swivel stand, remote, and manual. I'm going to try to give this one to my Dad. He's old school.

I gave away that exact tv and stand last month. I couldn't find anyone to buy it for $20 after a few days so listed as free. The stand wasn't in as nice condition, the glass was long gone. I had to get my house ready for to list, and it was my spare CRT with the Vega I have now.

I did get a decent score of my own just the other day. Rarely able to find stuff these days. But I picked up a boxed X'Eye for $200. Not super cheap, but less than it goes for on ebay and such. It is missing the JVC controller, which I used to have one and sold :x It is also missing the sampler and encyclopedia, but has the prizefighter.

Grabbed this today, my Gameboy white whale of a good decade, an interest far longer since it was the only one I never had the the system since it came out in 1994.

Mega Man V

The entire lot was picked up this morning for $70. GB is in 8.5-9/10 condition, missing the cap, few scuffs on the lens but that's really it. 2 Cases, small stack of manuals (oddly SML2 but no game for it), guy even threw in 4 new longer life batteries too.

Mega Man V, (2) Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Red, Tetris, and 4in1(not)Fun Pak. ;) The batteries were dead, but I replaced those this afternoon so they're solid.

Of course, shipping will be $3, but I love winning auctions with their opening bids of one cent.

edit: Wow, it's been a while since I got a penny auction. viewtopic.php?p=434226#p434226

I wish I still had the original release of that thing, dumb collectards have made the 'big box' version of it cost prohibitive, yet buying the guide and cartridge alone are very cheap so it's all in the big cardboard and plain white easily stealth repro'd tray inside.
