Games Acquired 2021
Re: Games Acquired 2021
Yup, that looks pretty likely. I didn’t think this would be a cart in high enough demand for that.

Should I send it back, or what?
Also, isn't 7 considered one of the weaker entries in the Classic series?

Re: Games Acquired 2021
It's odd that the cart doesn't have the usual sticker and Nintendo logo engraving on the back of the cart. There are some later carts that were released without the sticker on the back, but they had the info embossed in the space at the middle of the cart. Also, the square logo above the red "Super Nintendo" logo text looks brighter than it usually appears on SNES labels.
If you're able to VG_Addict, you should use a 3.8 mm security screwdriver to open the cart and check the PCB against images of a legit one online.
But from a first glance, I think your suspicion is right. If you have the option, I think you should try to setup a return.

...September was sort of light, but still solid imo. I'm especially geeked to finally have a copy of Steel Empire, it's missing the manual so I'll be on the lookout for one of those. I've heard good things about Cruis'n Blast so I'm looking forward to trying that out w/my fam and finally getting Saturn Bomberman after all of these feels great as well.

Games Acquired:
September:
Bit Generations: Boundish GBA
Bit Generations: Dialhex GBA
Bit Generations: Digidrive GBA
Bit Generations: Soundvoyager GBA
Only 4 games in September, but I'm really excited about them. If you haven't heard of Bit Generations before, they're a set of 7 minimalist games for GBA which released only in Japan at the end of the consoles life cycle. They're all abstract but super stylish and very fun. Some of the Bit Generations games were released under the name 'Art Style' later on Wiiware and DSiWare, including 2 of the above (Dialhex became Art Style: Rotohex on Wiiware, and Digidrive became Art Style: Digidrive on DsiWare). I love the Art Style series too!
3 of the games remain exclusive to GBA and now I own 2 of them. I did bit on all 7 but they were being auctioned seperately on eBay and I only won 4 of my bids. I'll have to keep an eye out for the remaining 3 (Orbital, Coloris and Dotstream) going up for sale.

Re: Games Acquired 2021
Orbital reminds me a bit of Osmos. I wonder if the latter was influenced by the former?

Got Waterworld for my virtual boy and I'm now much closer to getting a fullset of USA region games. 3 games left! I think I might be able to afford a copy of jack bros once i finish clearing out all my old stuff, lets pray...
