Wow, that's a lot of games this month.

So I've got a wishlist a mile long on switch eshop but I always struggled to justify buying stuff on it as I have so much else to play. With the current sale though, I said sod it and picked up a bunch of stuff, mostly stuff with discounts.

Streets of Rage and Panzer Dragoon saga technically were bought in like February or something, but they finally actually arrived from Limited Run this month.

I've been a bit spoiled on gifts this month - for context my birthday is the day before Christmas, so this is actually birthday and christmas presents combined. All the retro stuff (Baten Kaitos, Ape Escape, Dragon Quest IV and Chibi Robo) was from my wife who is the only one I can really ask for this stuff from :lol:

I actually have some Amazon vouchers to use so I'll probably pick up something else before the end of the year too - but it'll likely arrive in January at this point so I'll add them then.

It's going to take me all of next year to get through this lot...

I added Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse for the Sega Genesis this evening!

I was looking through my Genesis Wishlist and I was interested in getting into a new series. I wanted something short and a bit easier than most Genesis games I've played. It was then that I noticed the Illusion series on the Genesis and I thought that would fit perfectly. I've heard extremely good things about the game and I can't imagine it being too difficult. So, I decided to give myself a late Christmas present of Mickey Mouse!
