My odd take: I want a SWERY/Suda51/Hidetaka Miyazaki collaboration using the Fox Engine, taking place during the WW2 era. Not only is the game balls to the wall weird, but actually understanding what is going on requires reading the item descriptions for every weapon in the game, and actually reading the articles in porn mags you use to distract enemies.
Real take: I just want MG and MG2 remade in 3D.
If a New MGS was to be made, who would you want in charge?

Michel Ancel - Solid Snake, rendered in bright water colors, runs around slapping people and hiding in boxes while “The Theme from Peter Gunn” performed by a mariachi band plays in the background.
Dude, what have you done? I need this so badly now.

Idk man, if you want weird, I think you want Suda.
Nope. We want Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert to make a MGS point-and-click adventure game that ties, indirectly, to the Maniac Mansion series.

Who makes Neptunia games? Compile Heart? They should make a MGS!

Given what they've recently pulled off with Mario + Rabbids and the Starlink Star Fox release, I feel like Ubisoft should make that Splinter Cell/MGS crossover we all know they have in them.

Fuck. YES!!

Lol, I read Iga, and thought about it. Idunno. I'm gonna agree with BoneSnapDeez about letting it die. The only other option is for Konami to outsource it to Kojima Productions, and they'll release 20 MGS, Castlevania, Contra, and Gradius slot machines before they admit he's what made Metal Gear Solid good.

Hell, I never managed to read whether or not Kojima Productions had been allowed access to industry health care. They had originally been denied access because a Konami big-shot is the president of the industry association and nobody dared cross him. Kojima Productions sued, but I never did manage to find the eventual outcome.

I'm not even a fan of Kojima and only liked two games in the entire franchise but Metal Gear Solid without Kojima's unique style and voice just isn't Metal Gear Solid and never will be no matter how hard they try. This was a very creator driven series and I think it should just be left to rest.
