Things I've grabbed so far this month. Some local, some online. That North American Terranigma is a repro, of course.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
@Bone, how does Desert Falcon play on 2600? I've only given the 7800 version a go.
Okay... my PS1 US console + import gear + JPN Metal Slug games came in .
The console arrived DOA .... after some considerable tinkering of the laser assembly... got her running . Overall, I'm happy.
I have a chipped PS1. This is intended to be my backup console, but still wanted a method to run JPN imports & CDRs on it. Landed on this route shown below. Solder free. Fairly plug and play.

It's pretty rough. The isometric view just doesn't work at all. The game's barely coherent. Still, I have a soft spot for these oddball late-stage Atari releases.
Cool PSX mod. That's like the one system I can't run imports on (I have a stack of 'em, and just use ePSXe). I've considered modding, but at this point I think I'll just wait for the Polymega.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
I'm a big fan of the 7800 & think Desert Falcon is a nice looking game on it. I can't decide if I suck at it or if it's the gameplay
Thanks. I've had some fun with it already. Yeah, I have an awesome chipped PS1 I got off Joe Awesome that I'm going to save some mileage on. PS1 is really the main system Mrs Jago has nostalgia for. There's also some great kid friendly 3D and 2D platformers. So been making an effort to beef my PS1 game for the family... then I buy Metal Slug games . The Gold Finger Mini or similar device will only run you ~$15. On a PS2, there's multiple ways to run both PS1 & PS2 imports & backups without chips or lid mods these days. I'm a nut case & apparently need multiple ways to play the same games.
Of course, keep us updated on Poly Omega when it drops.

Markies' Games Acquired List Of 2019!
1. Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm (PS2)
2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords (XBX)
3. Super Castlevania IV (SNES)
4. Top Gear Rally 2 (N64)
5. Marvel Vs. Capcom (PS1)
6. GrimGrimoire (PS2)
7. Pikmin (GCN)
8. The Bouncer (PS2)
9. Disney's Aladdin (SNES)
I added Disney's Aladdin for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System this evening!
Once a year, we have the Missouri Game Con here in St. Louis. It is a great place for people and vendors to buy and sell their stuff. Last weekend was the 4th year, so it is slowly growing, but it is still rather small. For the next couple of posts, I will post some games that I got from last year's convention.
After picking up The Bouncer, which I found almost immediately, it didn't take me long to find the SNES game that I was looking for. A near mint copy of Disney's Aladdin by Capcom was sitting there that I snatched up rather cheaply. I noticed that I had a bunch of RPG's on my SNES Unfinished list, so I was looking for a nice action game. And I do love the Capcom Disney games and I have heard this is a good one. It'll be nice to play a quick game every once in a while.

Good choice, that's one of the better licensed platformers.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
A rather random assortment........
I'm done for the month. Gonna take it easy in September. Promised myself I wouldn't get any more games until I can figure out a shelving solution for the ones I already own.

Why Thank You!
I wanted a quick little platformer and I think this one fits the bill.

After picking up The Bouncer and Aladdin, I was able to walk around a bit more. I remember finding some interesting choices, but they were a bit expensive and I was going to come back to them later. After a bit, I made my way to one of the nicer vendors who had some extremely expensive games. While there, I noticed a mint copy of River City Ransom. A friend of mine and I played for a bit one evening and it was a game that I always wanted to explore more of. It was the NES game I was looking for at the convention and I can never turn down a good Beat 'Em Up.
