Racketboy Charity Pool

Post by Anapan »

I've decided to run a paypal pool this year as I didn't have time to organize an auction as we've held in previous years. Just like last year, the proceeds will be donated as a lump sum to AGDQ's January event on behalf of the Racketboy forums. This year the event is sponsoring the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Anyone interested in joining can donate to the pool here:

Racketboy Charity 2018 Pool

The pool will close in 2 weeks, ending when the AGDQ event starts on January 5th.
I'd appreciate some feedback as to when exactly the donation should be made.
The schedule can be viewed here:

Thanks to Ziggy587 for properly making up the banner, and to anyone who's willing to contribute donations.

Cheers!

I just donated it to AGDQ. Kind of confusing, but the pool was made in Canadian dollars - I couldn't figure out how to change it. It raised $213 CAD. I just converted it to USD in Paypal which resulted in 156.39 USD. 39 cents remain, I'll forward it to the Prevent Cancer Foundation with a bit extra separately.
This can be unstickied. Thanks all!

Awesome! Thanks again, Anapan.

Does anyone know if the donation was read during the stream?

Cheers! No mention, but they were strapped for time because of the necessity to explain the things the guy was doing to make the run time. The live reading of the donations was constantly interrupted, and there was a push to get the regulars from the Doom speedrun community read out.

Next year I'll definitely make sure I run a proper auction. I got lots of stuff I wanna get to a new owner.
