The layoff is the best part of the job. I'm a contractor and it makes it so I'm me free to take the next one. I usually only work about 6-8 months of the year (with side projects for the off time) and i've been out of town for about 4 months on 3 different jobs. I'm sore and tired and really happy to finally be home.

Oh, well, that makes a lot more sense, now. Congrats on having a well-deserved break!

Anapan wrote:I finally got layed off and I'm back home! I've started a Paypal account to collect donations.
I've decided to save my item donations until next year, and will be donating funds only this year.
If anyone wants to donate as well on behalf of this forum to be donated to whichever charity GDQ decides, the paypal address is:
RBCharity2018@gmail.com
I think a new topic should be made to discuss at which point we'd prefer to have our donation read, and any other relevant discussions.
Thanks for the consensus and support.
edit: now there's a paypal pool page:

Can a mod please create a thread for this and pin it? This got bumped way down already. $0 collected so far. :(

Also, Anapan, I promise I will update the banner over the weekend.

Thanks for that banner! I seems only the aspect ratio is important. I had to crop the height a bit, but it turned out fine.

Well luckily, there's more height in the original image! Try cropping this one instead.
