Re: Fallout 76
If a report from three unnamed Bethesda employees is to be believed, it looks like it'll be similar to what I was speculating but closer to Ark than Borderlands. It's starting to sound like it's going to be an online-only game (much to my despair) but will have some degree of more traditional quests and a storyline. I'm still optimistic about it as it was supposedly inspired at least somewhat by DayZ, and IIRC an offline local option is being/has been (I don't play it so I'm not sure) added to DayZ, so hopefully something similar could be done for Vault 76 even if it's a paid DLC of some sort. I'd gladly pay a bit extra to be able to keep playing if I so chose after the servers are gone.
Re: Fallout 76
If the rumors turn up to be true and it is a online only multiplayer game i will be hugely dissapointed. Im all for spin offs that try brand new ideas but at least be direct with it. Dont hype me up thinking it is a brand new game. I have huge issues with fallout 4 but i still love it and i wish fallout 76 is like the new vegas to 4 too, everything refined and improved.

I can't believe they're on the 76th game already.

Just like the 10th version of Windows?
And the 64th Nintendo console and the 360th Xbox.

What? I thought there was only one Xbox.

I for one would be ecstatic to roam the Wasteland with BogusMeatFactory. He can bring his faithful companion DogMeatFactory.

Re: Fallout 76
"Will be entirely online" sounds to me like there is no offline play. No offline play, no buy from me. It may just be a misunderstanding, but IMO a huge misstep for both the series, and Beth after the #saveplayerone thing.
