Re: Games Acquired 2018
I've held off on those ACA and Johnny Turbo titles in hopes for physical collection s but I'm probably wishful thinking.

Re: Games Acquired 2018
Slightly late July update (I've been on holiday):
Previous months:
July:
Thimbleweed Park Switch - £26.92
Mega Man 4 NES - £35
Secret of Mana SNES - £35
Yoshi's Island SNES - £20
Bomberman Hero Nintendo 64 - £8
Mickey's Speedway USA Nintendo 64 - £10
Mario Party Nintendo 64 - £27
Castlevania GBA - £9
Total: 8 games, £170.92
This month was another London Retro Market month, so most of my purchases were from there. Secret of Mana and Mega Man 4 are games which hit my 'buy virtual console games in physical format' goal for the year, and Mickey's Speedway USA was the last game I needed for my other goal of buying every Rareware title for Nintendo 64.
Yoshi's Island, Bomberman Hero are just two games I wanted, and Castlevania (which is the PAL name for Castlevania: Circle of the Moon) is another pick-up in a series I've only started getting into in the last few years.
Thimbleweed Park was a purchase from Limited Run games a few months back, which finally arrived this month. I don't add stuff to this list until it's actually in my possession, so here it is.

First two games of the month are South Park The Fractured But Whole (which I got in a sale last week for a great price) and Overcooked 2. The latter is fantastic fun in co-op with my wife. I'm glad I picked it up, as it was a bit of an impulse buy and I hadn't played the first one.

Splurged a bit to get this. Not the greatest game ever, but c'mon, it's classic Phantasy Star.

Yeah I'm happy to have it. Kinda bummed I couldn't find a single cart-only listing, honestly. The inclusion of that booklet probably bumps the price up $15 or so.
I got Adventure a few years ago from one of our esteemed forum members.
I got to thinking about our conversations about game series marathons. "Classic Phantasy Star carts" might be a good one...

There’s no “might” about it. It’s a good idea!
