First games of November. FDS is back baby!!!

Let me decipher.

Eggerland is an adventure puzzle game, and a precursor to the Adventures of Lolo series.

Othello is a board game simulator, and yes this is the same game as the Acclaim-published one released in North America for the NES. The FDS version came first, and then (strangely enough) a Famicom cartridge "port" a few days later, and then NES last.

Relics: Ankoku Yousai is a fascinating, terrible, and fascinatingly terrible game by Bothtec (later known as Quest, the Ogre Battle developers). It's a vaguely Metroidvania platformer with huge sprites, clunky controls, and tons of load times. Great atmosphere, but a chore to play. A complete copy of the game looks absolutely insane.

I feel a little like I did something crazy and stupid yesterday, when I was suddenly compelled to order a bunch of physical video games. Seems like it's been years, but there were actually three other times this year that I bought stuff. Anyway, I got the following:

Clock Tower: The First Fear (PS1)
Clock Tower 2 (PS1 - aka "Clock Tower")
Silent Hill (PS1)
Echo Night (PS1)
Carrier (Dreamcast)
Laplace no Ma (PC Engine)

As someone who spends most days transforming things from the time domain into the Laplace domain, and back, I felt like it was important that I get Laplace no Ma. Also, it seems like a really good game. I hope I'm right, 'cause it's not expensive, but it's not really cheap enough that I'd be okay with it sucking, either. I wonder when Fourier will get his own game; Frequency domain transformations are pretty important, too.

I also got the Full Throttle HD remaster through Humble Bundle, as well as Dawn of War, and a bunch of Talisman expansion packs.

I've haven't been picking up a whole lot as of recent. My latest pickup though was a pre-order of the new Pokemon games for the switch.

Nice get! How's that one in terms of price and rarity, in Europe? It's too bad the Japanese version has so much cooler packaging artwork, and is so expensive. It's a fun game, though. I hope you enjoy it.
