I was at Best Buy yesterday to pick up something for the office, and I wasn't under any kind of time crunch so I checked out their games. Tiny Barbarian DX was down to just 20 bucks new! I picked it up. I already own it on PC, but being able to play it on the Switch with a nice phsyical copy is something I'll pay that for ^w^

I had a similar experience. I dropped into Target this morning to pick up some last minute stocking stuffers. I dropped by the video game clearance section, and I picked up:

Fire Emblem Echoes (3DS)
Monster Hunter Stories (3DS)
Poochy & Yoshi’s Wooly World (3DS)

brand new for $19.99 each. They’ll be a great addition to the collection! (Although...I’m not going to add them yet. My daughter still needs a gift for me, and I conspired with my wife for her to give at least a few of them to me. She’ll be thrilled that such a great gift fits into her Christmas budget, and I’ll be extremely thrilled to get such a great present from my little girl.)

Awwwww! Thanks, guys. I’ve been talking up Monster Hunter Stories in front of her a lot and, specifically, how much I’d really like. A copy for Christmas. My wife is going to pretend to bring home a copy from Target today and tell her she found it within her budget. Right now, she’s worries she won’t be able to afford it with the money she has left to spend on Christmas presents. (She’s nine. We give her the money, but she has to earn it by getting good grades and helping around the house. It’s really more an exercise in budgeting and appreciating gifts than it is a real limitation.) I think she’ll be so happy to get it, and it will finish up her shopping for the season. Now...I just have to wait eleven days before breaking into it!
