It looks like they went with the (far superior) Japanese 6-button Mega Drive controller mold. That's pretty righteous.

But I'm still a little cautious and want to read reviews before I get *too* excited. I was burned once on an officially licensed Saturn USB controller (the "Play Sega" controller) and it broke after about a week.

Yeah, I really wouldn't mind having a USB Saturn controller, but I do fear the quality at all times. I should probably just get a USB adapter instead.

I think it's a good idea and I think I'm going to buy it.

So CES is happening and Retro-Bit are showing off their Sega controllers, but in related bit of news: they ALSO seem to have unveiled a new Sega Nomad!

I'd normally be inclined to not pay too much attention as there are plenty of knock-off retro-clone handhelds out there but since they're working with Sega on the licensed controllers, this has the potential to be a quality piece of hardware.

Did any1 pick these up?

Seems the following 4 are out:
Genesis Console
Genesis USB
Saturn Console
Saturn USB

Official page with retailers listed.

Initial reviews on Amazon look good.
USB Genesis
USB Saturn

Still waiting on Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, & Dreamcast. Also, seems they're releasing a N64 Hori type controller.
