Any Good Retro iOS Games That Debuted in 2017?

Post by racketboy »

That isn't Mario Run?

I'd like to maybe feature one more solid pick in my 2017 retro roundup. Preferably a fresh game (not a port), but I'll settle for a good port if that's all there is.

Thanks!

Since you mentioned Super Mario Run, how about Fire Emblem Heroes? It's like a smaller version of the usual Fire Emblem games, but with the added mobile caveats of a stamina meter and a gatcha system.

Just to prank your not mario, how about Animal Crossing Pocket Camp? Fairly close to the original in many ways, does lack some parts of it, but it doesn't have some insane pay wall so you can just go at it however you like. It can easily keep you busy about 30min a day if you care to commit.

I don't recall but did the NeoGeo arcade conversion of Neo Turf Masters show up this year or last? That one is a must golf game on the go.

If you liked that old text game A Dark Room, a sequel called The Ensign which is much harder popped up this year too just like the original for 99cents.
