I think one thing that will help it compared to MN9 will be the lack of that dash mechanic. And by the same token, the absence of the Burst mechanic from Mighty Gunvolt Burst should help restore some of that Mega Man flow, too.

The slide coming back intrigues me, and I'm down with it. I'm not sure how I feel about the buster, though. It completely changed the feel of the NES series, and while I enjoy those as well, it really de-emphasizes the boss weapons.

That, of course, doesn't guarantee that the game will be worthwhile, but we can hope. To say my expectations are thoroughly tempered is an understatement.

Love the art, went with a MM7 style design to it instead of 8bit which works just fine by me. Now I wonder, MM Gameboy Legacy collection?? That was to exist over a decade ago and went up in smoke.

Seems Capcom saw the light with USF2 and other projects that they're willing to take such steps with Switch to right some pretty nasty slights and wrongs. Shoddy 3DS port of one game, denied another despite the sales of the first, and a 9mo blow off of the Switch despite outlook and ongoing performance so far. It's nice to see nice things not being ignored in a good home finally.

I'm super excited about this, the trailer looks great, and although I did want classic 8 bit graphics I do enjoy the new look.

I'm just excited that it will be on the Switch. I've sworn off modern consoles (PS3 being my last one), but the Switch is a handheld, and that's fair game for me.

Also, looking forward to having Mega Man collections on the Switch. I've been silently upset that MM 9/10 was not portable-ized since the PSP (PSP, Vita, 3DS; I would've taken anything).
