This announcement actually makes me want to get around to trying Mighty No. 9 now, haha. I guess just to properly compare the two. Though this won't be out for like a year.
I gotta say I'm really not diggin' the art as well. Maybe the name Mega Man 11 just gave me expectations of 8-bit that I shouldn't've gotten up so high, but I definitely didn't expect that. It almost looks like they're trying to ape the MN9 style with the faux-3D thing. I certainly don't recall any of the other Mega Man's having that.
Then again, maybe it's something that X does a lot that they're continuing here. I'm a total stranger with the X-series past the first game.
