I agree it was probably a mistake (it was for Mighty No. 9) but they're probably too far along to make a switch now without pushing things way back. They apparently brought a Japanese company called Monobit on board to provide technical assistance for the engine so I have confidence they're doing what they can to make things work.

Here is my list for most hyped about games of 2018!

1. SHENMUE 3! - Do I think Shenmue 3 will come out in 2018.... probably not, but I am a dreamer and will continue to dream until the end of times because the fact that this game exists proves that dreams do come true.

2. Sea of Thieves - I can not express how much fun this game is going to be. It will be such a natural flowing game full of unique experiences and joys. It embodies the irreverence of pirating and treasure hunting and it may even be a game of the year for me (if Shenmue 3 doesn't come out) Trust me on this....it is worth battling the Windows 10 store to get this game... trust me.

3. Dragon Quest Builders - "BUT BOGUS," you say, "THAT GAME CAME OUT IN 2016!!!" It is coming to the switch in 2018 and I can not hold back the immense feelings of glee I have for that. I was hoping beyond hope that the game would come to Switch, because I honestly have obsessed over the idea of buying a PS4 JUST for Dragon Quest Builders. The game is in my thoughts every day and it is something that I keep myself in the dark about daily so that when I do finally get o play it, that experience is fresh. There is a fanatical level of fervor that leaves me frothing at the mouth at the thought of building in this game. It makes me even more hype for the eventual Dragon Quest Builders 2 (also coming to Switch). I am so hyped.

4. Octopath Traveller - I have had a huge falling out with JRPGs, mostly because of time and my lack of it. Something about Octopath Traveller though is different. I played that demo. I fell in love with the art style. I immediately connected with the two characters you played as. It is gonna be amazing. Bone, I know you thought only maybe Yoshi and Kirby on the Switch are things you might be excited for and I say that you will most definitely enjoy this one. Imagine if Final Fantasy VI merged with 3D Dot game heroes visually and the mechanics are of a more traditional turn based RPG with some neat mechanics. It is gonna be so good!

I know my list may be small, but those are the games I am MOST excited for at this very moment. This list will most definitely change, but we will see when that time comes.

Hyped is not the right word but i do have my eyes on Ace Combat 7, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, Ni No Kuni 2 and Yakuza 6 (though maybe i should actually try to play Zero and Kiwami to decide whether the series is really for me)

On the handheld side of things The Alliance Alive and the Persona dancing games do interest me.

I think I want to get Legrand Legacy for Switch next year. It's also out on PS4 and PC. New IP JRPG.
